Valentine's Day FREEBIE

One of my most popular Daily 5 Choices is my Work on Writing Center!

I like to change out the activities each week. One of my student's favorite choices is to write cards for their friends!

I created this freebie as a "Valentine's Day" card for my students to complete during Daily 5 rotations in February.

You can find it HERE in my TPT Store.

Fun Valentines Day Activities!

This week I have been thinking about what I will be doing for centers the week & day of Valentine's Week. I decided to let the students try something new!
You can find this Valentine Pack HERE in my TPT Store!

During centers, each student will be given a choice board:

I will have these 9 centers around the room! Students will need to do 3 a day, and cross out the box when they have finished the activity.

Here are some of the fun activities below:

This pack would also be fun to have out during a Valentine's Day Party, or to let students complete on Friday afternoon's during the month of February!

Word Work Activities: Words Ending in -ng

I've used this Christmas break to re-organize my reading block, as well as plan out new lessons for my intervention block.

I may have also watched about a thousand hours of Grey's Anatomy ;)

One of my goals for this new year is to give my students MORE phonics and spelling practice. To prepare them for second grade, I'm starting to transition away from the "play" spelling & word work centers, such as magnet boards and matching games, and holding them more accountable with these worksheets.

In this new word work pack, there are 17 worksheets to help students get meaningful practice with words ending in -ng!

You can find this pack in my TPT Store HERE!

I also spent this break helping my sister set up her new classroom! Here are a few pictures I was able to snap as we finished the other night:

I am looking forward to seeing my sweet little firsties when we get back :)
